Los Angeles – Resilience, Creativity & Social Repair
A Life on Line Sphere project to rebuild after emotional shocks through art and immersive storytelling
Project objective
To offer young people and families affected by forest fires or other recent psychological shocks a safe, expressive digital space in which to explore their emotions, co-construct narratives and rediscover a form of social cohesion through film, music and immersive storytelling.
Territorial context
Los Angeles has been hit by devastating fires in recent years, causing stress, isolation and trauma for many young people and families. The social fabric is sometimes fragmented, and conventional responses are insufficient to deal with deep-seated emotions.
The LoLs project proposes a complementary cultural and technological response to strengthen emotional resilience, creative expression and social reconnection.
